No of Temples : 05 (2 on Mountain and 3 at its base), Pahaad / mountain: Yes, 550 steps. Historical importance: An ancient Jain Temple is there on Jaypal Mountains. It is contemporary to Chandel Kings. Inside it a 12 feet tall idol of Lord Parshwanathji is established. Besides idols of Lord Arahnathji & Kunthunathji are also established. A Sahastrakut Temple is also there. Many Jain idols are spread over the Mountain. Presently the place is under control of archaeological department which has banned warshipping here. Two new Temples are under construction.
